November Winery of the Month
Every once in a while we find a wine that meets and exceeds all possible expectations. We are thrilled to offer the wines of Laetitia from the Arroyo Grande Valley as our “Winery of the Month”. Situated 3 miles from the Pacific Ocean the Arroyo Grande Valley has the ideal growing conditions for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Laetitia Pinot Noir is produced in the Traditional Burgundian style utilizing French Burgundy Clones and wine making procedures. The 2011 Estate Pinot Noir is grown on the Laetitia estate, harvested by hand, produced in their winery, aged in 100% French oak barriques for 11 months, bottled and shipped directly from the estate. This is the highest form of quality under American Law. This wine will be on sale at the ridiculous price of $15.99. This wine could easily sell for $25 a bottle. In addition to the Pinot Noir, we are adding the absolutely delicious Laetitia Estate bottled Chardonnay. Another anomaly; this Chardonnay is estate grown, barrel fermented in French oak barrels and aged for 10 months in French oak. 75% secondary malolactic give this wine a rich buttery texture and mouthful of well balanced chardonnay that lingers with pleasant green apple overtones and a clean, crisp finish. Again, we will offer Laetitia Chardonnay through November for $10.99. This is the best Value that we have ever offered with this quality of wine.
